Reece Prestedge’s Sittingbourne start their 2026/27 FA Cup campaign against Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Erith & Belvedere at Welling United’s Park View Road.
The Deres entered this competition in the Extra Preliminary Round beating Billinghurst 4-1 on Sunday 9th August. However, they were eliminated from the FA Vase at the First Qualifying stage by Bexhill United on penalties, and they have lost both League games by a single goal to AFC Greenwich Borough and Petts Wood & Holmesdale.
The Brickies enter their FA Cup campaign on the back of three unbeaten in the League having won against AFC Croydon Athletic and Whitstable Town on the road, whilst drawing against Cray Valley at home.
Last campaign Sittingbourne were knocked out the competition at the First Qualifying stage against fellow Isthmian League South East side AFC Croydon Athletic.
There have been three previous meetings between the two sides since 2013, with Sittingbourne winning all three., 3-1 in the Ryman Cup (2013), and then winning both League encounters in the 2023/24 campaign 6-0 and 4-0 respectively.
